2012 Mixed media on archival inkjet prints with charred fir frame, 190 x 90 inches

Within the lobby of Portland’s historic Yeon Building, this large-scale Oregon forestscape from Neahkahnie mountain immerses visitors into an iconic scene where morning light filters through silhouetted Sitka spruce trees. Dozens of photographs were composited into a single image that was printed, laminated, glazed, and mounted in the custom charred frame.
